To examine the heart with a magnetic resonance imaging system, patients need to hold their breath. Only this way, physicians can get clear pictures. The University Medical Center of Göttingen, Germany, has now succeeded to take pictures of the heart in real-time. The exam only takes a few seconds and patients can breathe freely.
